Our Honeymooning in Isla Mujeres was quite a success. We talked to a local guy that mentioned the "tortuga" release over on the north end. I guess it's a community project that was started to raise awareness for the locals about caring for the sea turtle eggs in the area. We were pretty lucky to hear about the event considering it isn't advertised to the tourists there.
