All the cousins were really excited to see each other, and Mckinley and Hannah love to play little mom to May. May just loves playing with them. I wish they could live closer. On the first day at Disneyland it was 94 degrees outside and we got a little baked, but had fun on the cool air conditioned rides like small world.
We had our first measure test at Autopia, and they let her through although it was definitely debatable.
We hit hard on the first day and stayed super late at the park to watch the Fantasmic show in Frontierland. May was interested at first but as it got later she fell asleep on Garrett's shoulder.
May's favorite ride was The Little Mermaid ride, and then probably Winnie the Pooh. She signed for more after both, and we ended up going on Ariel probably 5+ times because she cried when we got off. Luckily the line was never really long for that one.
This is a picture of May lunging for Ariel.

After her excitement for the puppy ride at Silverwood I thought she would be into Dumbo. She seemed to enjoy it but was somewhat stone faced the whole time.
Another one of her favorites was the "train" from the parking garage to the park. She was always really excited to ride on that one.
The lines were probably pretty average 15-30 mins most of the time. We had fun playing and trying to keep May contained. Luckily we never had to resort to the leash.
There were a few meltdowns along the way as it inevitably goes with Disneyland, but we kept it moving with yummy treats and my favorite- caramel apples and cake pops.
Sometimes May and I opted out of the bigger rides because of me being pregnant and her being a shorty. We found other fun things to do around the park like watching the marching band, or riding on the horse buggy down Main Street.

Dad's birthday was on Thursday, and I got some reservations at the Carnation Cafe where some of Walt Disney's favorite foods were served. Garrett got his lactose free birthday popsicle too.
I love the simple, slow moving rides that lend themselves to enjoying time with the littles. May was really cute in line for Storybrookland, and made faces and laughed with dad.
One morning we got in line for Peter Pan hoping to catch a shorter line. It was the normal 40 minute wait, and by the time we got on the ride May was fast asleep on Garrett's shoulder. We couldn't wake her up for the entire ride.
Disneyland was all done up for Halloween. The festive themes are fun, but I'm not a huge fan of the changed Haunted Mansion. The original version is more nostalgic for me I guess. I do love the costumes and pumpkins and music around the park. By the 5th day I felt like the ligaments in my belly were strung tight and ready to burst holding all that rapidly growing weight and standing in place all day. My feet were sore but we loved every minute.
On Saturday, after 5 extremely exhausting days at the park, we packed up and went to Huntington beach to hang out until our flight. We didn't intend on getting wet, but a sneaky little wave got a few of us. We ate lunch at Ruby's on the pier, and enjoyed the sand in our toes.
Haha Hannah always trying to keep May in line.
The flight home was really difficult because May would not sleep and was really fussy. Garrett mostly took care of her while I passed out, and by the time we got home we were so relieved to be in our own beds, and May in her crib. I hope we get more chances to go play with the cousins again in the near future!
