Our big day excursion was in Xel-ha and Tulum. Xel-ha was full of fun stuff to do- we rode the zipline, snorkeled, visited a small "Mayan" cave (haha) and my favorite was the lazy river, which was actually really a neat experience. In Tulum we toured some really neat Mayan ruins- some even with the original paint still intact.
